Integrity, openness and innovation are essential elements of how we operate the business. We are committed to delivering a world-class service to clients.

Key Personnel

Marie Barlow

Manager Logistics

Marie has been in the freight and customs industry for more years than she cares to mention. With that has come the understanding that success means understanding customers’ needs and specific requirements. Being professional and having time critical awareness is a requisite for doing the job well. At Redfort she has caught the helicopter “big” and can talk make and models with the best. Marie loves spending time with family, preferably on the boat with a fishing rod in hand, or walking the beach with the dog.

Michael Goulden

Helicopter engineer

Michael is Redfort’s go-to-guy in New Zealand when it comes to the engineering around getting helicopters from and to clients. He has spent 20 years in the helicopter industry, with experience in Africa, Asia and Central/North America. After leading a team for a major aviation company in New Zealand, Michael forged his own path 14 years ago and thrives on new opportunities. In his spare time, Michael can be either found on ski-slopes or on the water doing something active.

Sam Graham

Manager Aviation Logistics

Sam comes from a multi-disciplined freight forwarding background, starting in LCL/FCL exports and then moving to air freight shipments and project cargo. Sam has been shipping helicopters for six years, five of those in Vancouver, Canada for two of the largest logistics providers in the world. He returned to New Zealand to be closer to family and happily discovered Redfort not too far from his North Shore home. Outside of work Sam enjoys playing golf and re-exploring New Zealand’s shores and forests NZ and beyond.

Stephen Cranswick

Helicopter Engineering/Pilot

Stephen has spent 13 years as an engineer and pilot in the helicopter industry, many of them in all parts of the world. He currently lives in the United States and says nothing completes his day better than delivering and organising for a helicopter to be put in a shipping container for Redfort. As an ex-pat Kiwi, Stephen loves the connection back to New Zealand that Redfort gives him and his wider business. In Stephen’s spare time, he enjoys a beer with friends.
